Dokumente, Links

is an international not-for-profit association of vendors, users, and consultants dedicated to promoting the use of messaging to provide multi-platform, multi-tier message passing and message queuing services for distributed computing architectures.

Open Applications Group

Die Open Applications Group, Inc. (OAGI), ist eine nicht gewinnorientierte Vereinigung, of many of the most prominent stakeholders in the business software component interoperability arena in the world.

It was formed in February, 1995 in response to the rapidly expanding problem of tying disparate software applications together. Mission The mission of the Open Applications Group is to promote the easy and cost-effective integration of key business application software components for enterprise and supply chain functions for end-user organizations. The Group does this by advancing industry awareness of issues and solutions regarding interoperability of software business components and working to evolve those solutions into a best practices model while providing an impartial forum for all of the stakeholders in the industry to further improve the model and learn. Vision Our vision at the Open Applications Group is to drive for a a solution that enables an organization to buy more quickly and easily integrate their business applications. Period. When customers talk to us about tying together application software, most of the time they do not care about the technical wonders associated with integrating software. They require the ability to support their organizational needs to be fast, agile, and economical. Our vision to make plug an play business software a reality may best be described by discussing the way a laptop computer will accept a new PC Card with comparatively little effort.

Client/Server-Produkte

BEA MessageQ
is easy-to-use, fast, and reliable message software that allows applications to communicate using the industry-leading queued message technology. A proven and widely deployed middleware solution for distributed enterprise applications, BEA MessageQ allows the reliable exchange of guaranteed application messages across heterogeneous platforms. BEA MessageQ provides a robust application integration architecture for building high-performance message-based applications using multi-mode communications.
MQSeries IBM MQSeries
MQSeries messaging software enables business applications to exchange information across over twentyfive different operating system platforms in a way that is straightforward and easy for programmers to implement.
DSOM Management IBM DSOM Management
This document describes several utilities that can be used to manage a Distributed System Object Model (DSOM) environment. In this chapter, we will briefly overview the requirement for distributed objects and CORBA, the primary standard associated with distributed objects published by the Object Management Group. We will put off any discussion specific to SOM and the Distributed SOM (DSOM) framework until SOM and Distributed SOM.
